welcome
In
May of 2009, SCA Project Gallery entered into a new partnership with
the dA Center for the Arts. Both organizations are 501(c) 3 with like-minded
goals and visions for contributing to the arts in the greater Southern
California area. This partnership sets forth to create ongoing revenue
streams, expand arts education, expand community programs, and establish
an administrative umbrella to manage all aspects as one organization
while respecting both entities identity and non-profit status. Thus
begins an exciting new chapter in the history of SCA Project Gallery.
SCA Project Gallery was incorporated in Los Angeles County in 1999 under
the name of SCA Gallery. The organization has remained diligent to the
promise it made the community when moving into the Founder's Building
in the downtown Pomona Arts Colony: To serve and lead intercultural
audiences and communities in educational dialogue by providing an environment
for artists to present innovative work with contemporary issues.
The collaboration between SCA Project Gallery and The dA Center for
the Arts opens the door to many new possibilities and opportunities
for participating artists, art patrons, students and anyone that ventures
into the downtown Pomona Arts Colony.
SCA
Project Gallery is supported in part by the Los
Angeles County Arts Commission and by the generous donations of
the Tessier Family and dedicated artist members.
